More than 300 tests are conducted throughout the manufacturing, packaging and distribution stages:
- Raw Material Testing: All raw materials used in the manufacturing
of Swiss Herbal products are of the highest quality sourced from
trusted GMP suppliers and are tested for microbial contamination, lead, arsenic, mercury, PCB’s, pesticides, solvents, foreign materials, identification and potency to name a few. Each ingredient has a Certificate of Analysis, along with a documented Source of Origin maintained on file. - Process Control Testing: In-process controls have a great impact on product quality and performance. Tests are conducted for fill weight, uniformity, disintegration, friability, hardness and appearance.
- Finished Product Testing: Once a product is manufactured, we perform full testing on the final product to ensure the performance characteristics and product characteristics meet or exceed Swiss Herbal’s and Health Canada’s requirements. We test for:

- Disintegration

- Contact Information: We promote our toll-free number, 1-800-268-9879 and web site http://www.swissherbal.ca/ as we are proactive about sharing information with the public and are available to answer consumer questions.
- Expiration date: Displayed on all Swiss Natural Sources products to let consumers know how long the contents will be effective.
- Lot Number: This is a series of numbers important for tracking the supplement's history in case there are any specific questions concerning the product purchased.
- Warnings: Help to alert consumers about protective safety seals on the product (which should remain intact at time of purchase) and help caution of the potential adverse effects of taking a supplement. People on prescription medication, pregnant or lactating mothers, or people with allergies should look for warnings on package labels.
