Today, Swiss Herbal Remedies employs over 140 Canadians, all with the singular focus to ensure that your experience with a Swiss Natural Sources® product is positive.  We manufacture, package and market over 400 products from our new 72,000 sq. ft., Site Licensed and GMP compliant facility.  Our building houses research, regulatory, quality assurance, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, marketing, sales and all administration functions.  All employees are dedicated to ensure that Swiss Herbal Remedies products meet or exceed the product quality standards established by Health Canada. 

 

At Swiss Herbal Remedies, our mission is to produce safe and efficacious products that are scientifically formulated from natural sources.  To ensure consistency with our mission, the organization is focused on 4 core priorities:

 

1. Product Safety & Efficacy: This is the most critical element of our product development process.  Raw materials are only sourced from trusted suppliers and then subjected to a complete set of defined laboratory tests to ensure their purity, potency, and absence of foreign materials.  Each ingredient has a Certificate of Analysis, along with a Source of Origin documented and maintained on file.  All products in their final packaged form are once again tested before release to stores for sale.  And finally, samples are retained from each finished goods lot and tested at defined intervals during their shelf life to ensure purity, potency and stability.  Our testing protocol strictly follows Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and meets and exceeds Health Canada’s requirements.

 

2. Scientifically Formulated from Natural Sources: Swiss Natural Sources® products are developed by our expert team of Biochemists, Chemists, Formulation Scientist, Nutritionists and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine.  Each product is researched, using the most up-to-date clinical data available, to ensure the product delivers on its health promise.

Here are the latest things we have done:

• Installed shrink bundling equipment on all packaging lines that use 100% recyclable low density polyethylene film.  This reduces the amount of cardboard used in our operation by 108,000 lbs annually.
• Switched bottles to HDPE, a 100% recyclable material endorsed in all community Blue Box programs.
• Recycle 87,000 lbs of paper, corrugate and plastic waste annually.
